The Method Behind SaaSi Cubes™
Symbolic Instrument™
Create small, portable applications around information you own.
Symbolic Instrument™ is a user-composed systems method for turning a defined set of information, instructions, and permissions into useful application outputs.
Instead of beginning with a large platform, it begins with one bounded purpose: what the user wants to accomplish, what information is required, and what the finished application should produce.
A Symbolic Instrument™ System is built from bounded command sequences: up to seven instructions in a sequence, up to seven sequences in a stack, and up to seven stacks in a cube.
These physical cubes demonstrate how a bounded command structure can be assembled, rearranged, observed, and translated into a user-defined application. The use of physical object manipulation as part of the analytical and creative processes can enable the recognition of patterns in information of differing domains.
